Get active with Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh awards 3 different levels of certificate: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Students at Bensham will be doing the Bronze award.

To earn each certificate you will need to complete 4 different sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition.

Volunteering – Giving up some of your time to help other people.
Physical – Taking part in physical activities either in P.E. lessons or outside of school.
Skills – Improving in something that is considered a skill such as cooking.
Expedition – Going on a 2 day hike, camping overnight, cooking your own meals and working as a team.
