Welcome to 2020!

A new decade awaits

The transition into 2020 couldn’t be more exciting here at Bensham. While the Year 7s have really settled in, the Year 11’s look towards moving on and everyone else in between will continue to achieve.  We hope to see a wide range of fun experiences and life changing opportunities for you to undertake this year and beyond!

Outside of Bensham the world continues to excite. For sport in particular, the Summer Olympic games are to look forward to with the Euros just before (Come on England!). 

Furthermore, we enter a new decade so we can expect huge leaps in technology. Virtual reality is looking to take gaming to the next level, multiple Mars missions are in planning and self-driving cars are to roam our streets soon! A greater care for our environment is planned by using technology such as renewable energy and hopefully by 2030 we can look back on the progress we’ve made. Remember to do your part by recycling and turning off electrical devices when possible!
